This is Not a Book — Diller + Scofidio

This item is part of the M1DTW Archive Fundraiser Project.

A small format book presenting Diller + Scofidio’s Eyebeam Museum of New Media competition proposal in printed form.

What happens when we engage the production of a book by designing press-sheets rather than traditional pages? How can the process of reading operate analogously to the process of occupying space? Is it possible for participation to constitute authorship?

Our challenge was to translate the spaces of an innovative building dedicated to new media into print form.
